About the Role:
The Marketing Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting and executing marketing processes within Commercial Lines. You will oversee both Renewal and New Business Marketing Specialist teams, working closely with Regional Marketing Leaders, Commercial Lines Managers, and local sales and operations teams. Your focus will be on optimizing workflows, ensuring compliance, and delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and prospects. This position requires advanced data and technology skills, a process-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Additionally, you will support team development, drive change management initiatives, and help maintain consistency in standards across all locations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring efficient, consistent execution and timely delivery.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members; support onboarding and training in partnership with the Commercial Lines Training team.
- Partner with Regional Marketing Leaders, Commercial Lines Managers, and sales leadership to prioritize renewal and new business marketing opportunities and align marketing strategies.
- Manage team workload and performance to meet deadlines and service expectations.
- Ensure adherence to workflows, tools, templates, and KPIs; follow up with local teams to support compliance and data integrity.
- Use reporting tools and dashboards to track renewals, remarketing activity, and team performance.
- Support rollout and adoption of marketing processes and related change management initiatives.
- Serve as the subject matter resource, including U Submit support and training for Producers.
- Provide direct marketing support as needed, though not a routine responsibility.
- Remain current on industry trends, products, and technology.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance strongly preferred.
- Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; industry designations such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU are a plus.
- Strong understanding of P&C coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
- Prior experience supervising or managing insurance operations teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing large data sets.
- Experience with agency/document management systems (Sagitta/ImageRight preferred).
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team environment.
