Description and Requirements
The Role:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities that support the National Preferred Zones of personal lines account managers. You will manage incoming correspondence, facilitate new business processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of clients’ electronic records.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a resource for inside service coordination, supporting both new and existing clients through rating, quoting, mail processing, and electronic file management.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping to maintain high-quality outputs.
- Manage task prioritization, communications, and workflow facilitation for Account Managers.
- Support policy renewals, monitor expiration dates, and maintain strict confidentiality standards.
- Monitor and manage all incoming mail and internal communications, ensuring timely distribution to appropriate team members. Follow up on outstanding items to maintain workflow continuity and meet service expectations.
- Assign and distribute tasks to Account Managers based on workload capacity, client priorities, and service timelines.
- Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure timely processing of new business, renewals, and service requests.
- Respond to internal inquiries from account managers regarding documentation, information requests, and general support.
- Participate in USI Personal Lines Initiatives by quoting with carriers offering service centers and download capabilities, while maintaining strong market relationships.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of personal lines products and services to effectively support Middle Market Account Managers.
- Uphold USI’s Best Practices, Core Values, and Risk Management standards in all aspects of work.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Must hold a State Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with clients, co-workers, and partners.
- Proficient with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office, including intermediate knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Sagitta/Work Smart is a plus.
- Ability to manage tasks of varying complexity with accuracy and efficiency.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team environment, consistently collaborating to achieve business goals.
- Effective at organizing and managing workflows to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
