About the Role:

The EB National Senior Pharmacy Analyst is a strategic leader within USI’s Employee Benefits team. In this highly client-facing role, you will oversee a team of Pharmacy Analysts and manage complex pharmacy benefit programs for large employer clients. You’ll guide PBM RFP processes, negotiate high-value contracts, deliver advanced analytics, and support cost-containment strategies. As a consultative expert, you’ll provide guidance on pharmacy benefit design and vendor performance, making a significant impact on our clients’ success.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Pharmacy Analysts, ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Allocate resources and manage workflow across multiple concurrent PBM projects.
  • Lead development and execution of PBM RFPs for large, complex accounts; negotiate advanced pricing, rebates, and contractual terms with PBMs.
  • Review and validate analyst-prepared financial models for accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior-level client stakeholders.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis of pharmacy claims to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop strategic recommendations on formulary design, specialty drug management, and rebate maximization.
  • Create executive-level dashboards and reports for internal leadership and client presentations.
  • Serve as primary pharmacy benefits consultant for high-profile accounts and guide client decision-making on complex pricing and rebate structures.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership on pharmacy strategies and market positioning.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of PBM market trends, the specialty drug pipeline, and regulatory changes; deliver insights on vendor offerings and innovative pharmacy solutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy benefits management, PBM contracting, or health plan analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to supervise teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of PBM pricing models, formulary management, specialty drug strategies, and rebate structures.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with high-value PBM contracts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.

Salary Range:  $115, 000- $130,000.  This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 10%.
