Description and Requirements
- Work with fellow members of the national CL training team to achieve division-wide training goals.
- Develop and present training documents and tools, such as user guides, recorded presentations, and PowerPoint slides, to support all CL systems, procedures, and educational initiatives.
- Develop and manage an annual training calendar featuring regularly scheduled webinars.
- Responsible for training and orientation of all new employees.
- Continuously discover innovative approaches to deliver hands-on training to all CL employees. Recommend various methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SME) to create and deliver targeted training content.
- Create, facilitate, and conduct quarterly “Lunch & Learn” sessions in each office, incorporating employee feedback.
- Collaborate with SMEs and managers to develop Train-the-Trainer processes.
- Participate in CL project teams and user groups as assigned to align training with business needs.
- Maintain up-to-date training resources on the USI Intranet.
- Deliver training at a regional, business unit, or acquisition level as assigned.
- Participate in regular national trainer meetings and conference calls.
- Track and report on training projects and progress.
- Expected to further industry knowledge through courses with intent to pursue an industry designation.
- 3+ years of insurance experience.
- College degree preferred.
- Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
- Experience delivering systems training in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Proficient knowledge of Sagitta, ImageRight, and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex information and deliver it clearly.
- Willingness to travel to various USI offices as required.
