Description and Requirements

General Description: Responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams on initiatives to improve technology solutions and streamline processes to drive efficiencies. Act in a facilitation role to support team to complete Scrum projects. Manage meetings, schedule Scrum ceremonies, identify and remove obstacles for team members and provide executive reports on progress. 

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a broad knowledge base of Agile practices to help create high performing teams. Includes user stories, retrospectives, story mapping, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, pairing, and information radiators. 
  • Facilitate meetings for idea generation, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, problem-solving, and alignment.
  • Address and resolve blocking issues for the team.  
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain product backlogs, prioritize features, and refine user stories to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. 
  • Ensure Agile teams adhere to Scrum principles and participate in events to drive project success.
  • Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders. 
  • Serve as a liaison between the development team and internal departments. Facilitate communication and alignment of goals.
  • Report any delay risks, dependencies, and product development evolution.
  • Work with Agile Leaders to increase the effectiveness of the application within the organization.
  • Adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. 

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP).
  • Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.
  • Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.
  • Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 3+ years of IT and/or systems experience. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • Project management experience required. 
  • Familiarity with SQL a plus. 
  • Experience with insurance or sales applications and workflows a plus. 
  • Team orientation and hands-on approach. 
  • Able to manage multiple and rapidly changing, high visibility priorities and projects.

Salary Range:  $80,000- $95,000.  This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 8%.
