Description and Requirements
- Communicate the Personal Risk Division’s vision, projects, and priorities to regional leaders.
- Promote Personal Risk client management services and deliverables to internal clients at leader meetings. Includes EB/PC Producers and Leaders.
- Accountable for recruitment, management, and development of Premier Services team members. Includes training, performance management, and holding department meetings.
- Manage Marketing Specialist team members responsible for supporting Personal Risk Producers with quoting and placement of new business.
- Ensure all team members (Service and Marketing) are knowledgeable of current market trends, underwriting requirements, and system enhancements that support the Personal Risk Division.
- Manage department’s financial metrics. Achieve target Op Margins for Premier client segments and meet revenue retention targets.
- Work with Regional CFO and Financial Analysts to ensure metrics are aligned.
- Assist in managing carrier relationships through planning annual strategies, developing marketing campaigns, monitoring book and carrier consolidation, and helping with client issues.
- Work with Personal Risk Sales Practice Leader to ensure coordination of sales and service support. Includes assignment of service team based on client exposures and segmentation.
- Maintain strong internal and external client relationships within the region.
- Attend client renewal review meetings and new client onboarding of Premier Tier 2 & 3 clients.
- Meet with various venders and carrier partners.
- Assist with teams/offices undergoing significant operational changes. Includes acquisitions and staffing challenges.
- Lead ongoing transition to Premier best practice service models in region. Includes standard deliverables and client segmentation.
- Ensure department achieves service standard KPIs. Monitor monthly regional and individual results.
- Monitor monthly renewal, new business and lost business reports for Personal Lines
- Monitor and resolve potential E&O issues.
- Oversee new business production. Support opportunities to produce new business through account rounding, up selling, and referrals.
- Develop, execute, and monitor process and procedures for department and client contact materials.
- 5-10 years of experience in personal insurance. Previous managerial experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Must hold or earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Effective leadership with the ability to direct and monitor the activities of others.
- Highly developed communication and organizational skills.
- Must be comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of Sagitta is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to creatively and proactively problem-solve.
- Good working knowledge of personal insurance, rating, and underwriting guidelines.
