The Role:

As the Regional Marketing Leader, you will oversee placement activities for both new and renewal business, while leading a team of Marketing Specialists. You will serve as the primary regional contact for key carrier partners and collaborate closely with the National Placement & Analytics team and regional stakeholders to execute effective marketing strategies.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of your marketing and placement teams, including workload oversight, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Monitor team performance against service standards using KPIs, strategic initiatives, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with regional stakeholders and the national team to advance regional strategies, including panel carriers, wholesale, specialty programs, and other market initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with carrier underwriters and representatives as the primary regional contact.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and producers to support client insurance needs, participating in local huddles and sales strategy meetings for upcoming renewals and new business.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, pricing strategies, and underwriting policies, and provide expertise on USI’s proprietary platforms and solutions, including the stewardship process.
  • Develop carrier partnerships and stay informed on evolving market appetites.
  • Drive the adoption and rollout of technology and workflow placement tools.

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
  • 5+ years in marketing or placement preferred; prior management experience highly preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license required; industry designations such as ARM, CIC, and CPCU are a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet management.
  • Familiarity with Sagitta/ImageRight preferred.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Actual salary is dependent on skill set and experience, with an opportunity for a monthly incentive bonus, commissions, and equity program.
