Description and Requirements

General Description: The purpose of the Corporate Finance & Operations Intern is to prepare rising college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates’ entry into the insurance brokerage field. Through this comprehensive 10-week program, successful interns will gain an understanding of Corporate Operations. 

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Corporate Executive and Regional Business Leaders.
• Manage Growth Initiative workstreams. Run weekly project meetings to ensure activities stay on track.
• Assist in developing, leading, and implementing strategic and operational initiatives. Enhance revenue growth and/or improve operating margins.
• Review and analyze financial and operating reports. Participate in monthly forecasting and performance review calls.
• Communicate and present findings to Corporate Executives and Regional Executives.
• Analyze Sales and Operations models. Includes modeling potential propose revenue and expense upsides.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college as a rising junior, senior, or recent college graduate.
• Exceptionally strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work ethic.
• Comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
• Advanced level of financial analysis, data modeling, and presentation development.
• Strong technical capabilities including advanced Excel. MS SQL / Analysis Services scripting, and business intelligence dashboard modeling (PowerBI, Tableau, or similar platform) is a plus.
