Description and Requirements

General Description: Cultivate and maintain the relationship between Wholesale & MGA Production divisions and the USI Retail and Select marketing teams. Ensure levels of service are met and the correct groups are handling risk placement opportunities. Provide management and oversight of resources providing quotes and servicing accounts that align with Wholesale small commercial binding capabilities.

Responsibilities: 
  • Accountable for full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of assigned team. Includes performance management, setting priorities, developing work plans and schedules, and approval of timecards and expense reports. 
  • Manage relationships with clients, markets, and regulatory bodies as applicable to the business.
  • Act as a liaison between internal groups to take advantage of opportunities where Wholesale can act as an intermediary for USI Retail accounts.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and understanding of Company capabilities across Specialty Programs, MGA, and Wholesale.
  • Deliver consistent service levels and response times. Includes tracking key metrics for submissions, quotes, bound policies, and revenue generation.
  • Work with internal marketing specialists across regions. Communicate Wholesale & MGA capabilities and build relationships.
  • Work with executive team on initiatives to identify and drive USI volume into Wholesale & MGA production teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 3-7 years of Property & Casualty brokerage or underwriting experience.
  • College degree preferred. 
  • Must hold a state Property & Casualty insurance license. 
  • Knowledge of the E&S Market.
  • Experience in Wholesale and MGA preferred.  
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting/financial cost controls and budgets. 
  • Proven customer service and customer relations skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.  
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
