Description and Requirements

The Role:

The Senior Graphic Designer is a strategic member of USI’s internal marketing team, responsible for elevating national branding, business development, and communications through modern, impactful design. This role is central to the execution of internal and external marketing initiatives to support brand-consistent materials tailored to a professional audience and aligned with USI’s corporate identity.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with National Sales and Marketing leadership to initiate and execute creative development that supports USI’s national marketing, branding, and communications priorities.
  • Conceptualize and design compelling, professional marketing collateral across digital and print channels, including advertising, branding, logos, sell-sheets, reports, infographics, presentations, newsletters, social media, email campaigns, tradeshow materials, and web pages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and develop creative solutions that meet marketing and communication needs.
  • Streamline creative processes and manage/enhance internal asset libraries.
  • Participate in the creation of new design templates for local offices, ensuring consistency with national branding. Maintain brand guidelines to support visual consistency across materials nationwide.
  • Design, format, and update executive-level PowerPoint presentations for board and C-suite meetings.
  • Research and recommend modern design approaches to elevate USI’s visual content.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality, detail-oriented work under tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For:

  • 4-7+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in-house within corporate, consulting, or financial services environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of creative marketing collateral across digital and print, ideally targeting professional services or B2B audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of core design principles (typography, design & layout, and composition).
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); experience with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe Flash, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience designing web platforms, including HTML, CSS, and low code tools is a plus.
  • Clear understanding of how design supports broader marketing and business initiatives with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting project demands.
  • Comfortable engaging all levels of executive leadership/management.
  • This is a remote position, with optional hybrid flexibility for employees located near a USI office.

$85-$105k plus 5% Bonus
