Corporate Carrier Analyst

USI is reimagining our Property & Casualty carrier analytics and placement technology approach, and we are looking for a corporate analyst to help execute on this highly visible, C-Suite driven strategy. You will be responsible for providing analytics support and guidance to the larger team, while working with internal stakeholders (regional leadership, senior management, and finance) to measure ongoing performance against our goals. Concurrently, you will partner with other members of the analytics team, IT and USI segment leaders to provide support around our innovative placement and marketing technology tools which will facilitate initiatives which will help generate revenue uplift, drive efficiencies into our marketing & placement process and shape how we interact with our carrier partners.
Responsibilities:
· Provide analytical support and modeling for our carrier revenue strategy
· Regularly update our internal carrier premium flow models and help draw conclusions for actionable next steps
· Work with carrier partners to get regular data reporting on premium growth as inputs to performance models
· Partner with IT and our Property & Casualty business leadership to support the rollout of new placement and marketing technologies to drive internal efficiencies
· Assist in the administration and cataloging of our carrier partners
· Benchmark carriers against each other on quote and sales activity
· Track regional performance against the strategy to hold carriers and internal regions accountable for performance
· Generate reports for quarterly updates with regional sales leaders, operational leaders and financial analysts to track progress towards operational goals
· Help peer review internal models and presentations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience
· Knowledge and experience in property & casualty preferred, with prior insurance carrier experience a plus
· Advanced familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred
· Four year undergraduate degree in a quantitative/engineering field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 required
· Proven ability to drive operational results in a matrix organization
· Ability to manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines under pressure

- Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
