General Description: Lead and deliver strategic consulting and global benefit project management services to multinational clients. Provide overall support to multinational clients’ benefit and retirement plans across the globe, with emphasis on plans for local national employees in foreign countries.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand multinational client needs. Develop services that align with clients’ strategic goals and objectives. 
  • Provide strategic consulting and global project management expertise. Includes global benefits management, multinational pooling, global underwriting, and mergers & acquisitions. 
  • Oversee due diligence, day one continuity and plan integration for acquisition clients. 
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute the global project plan. Ensure scope of services are delivered in a timely manner. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners. 
  • Lead and manage multiple multinational client engagements.
  • Identify additional potential work and any out-of-scope services requested by clients.
  • Complete technical reviews of benefit plan reports and other work products.
  • Finalize and present quality deliverables to clients.
  • Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide exceptional relationship management.
  • Partner with sales and account management team to manage clients’ domestic benefit programs.  
  • Assist clients with global mobility and development of programs for expatriate team members. 
  • Participate in peer mentoring to coworkers.
  • Participate in training opportunities to remain current with technical skills and the regulatory environment.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 10 years + experience working on global benefit and retirement programs. Demonstrated expertise in delivering HR consulting services to multinational organizations preferred.
  • Actuarial designation or background strongly preferred.
  • Health and Life Broker license strongly preferred
  • Exceptional global project management planning and execution skills.
  • Proven experience managing multiple clients, timeframes, and deliverables.
  • Ability to oversee and manage local brokers in foreign countries, in line with clients’ objectives,
  • A professional presence with strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prepare exceptional client deliverables on a daily basis.
  • Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships. 
  • Ability to actively listen to client concerns and objectives.  
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking skills. Problem-solving ability.
  • Understand the various economic models and structures of multinational employers; publicly traded, privately owned, PE, NGO, etc. and the influence on global benefits strategy and plans
  • Desire to be part of a growth team Interest in shaping the future of the International Benefits Practice.

Salary Range:  $100,000- $125,000.  This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 10%.
