Corporate Licensing Analyst

Apply nowGeneral Description: Responsible for licensing support of associates and business entities in the organization with new applications, renewals, affiliations and notifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks related to Licensing responsibilities as required.
- Manage all license renewal submissions 45-60 days prior to expiration.
- Manage new license applications for associates and business entities.
- Manage associate name change submissions with applicable insurance departments.
- Manage resident license change for associates moving from one state to another.
- Handle producer affiliations and address changes (agent transfers, on-boarding & terminations).
- Responsible for conducting regular licensing audits to ensure associate and business entity compliance.
- Manage all internal notifications and escalations in advance of license expiration dates.
- Manage daily aspects of the Enterprise Licensing Center software including data input and supplying weekly status reports.
- Assist with complex projects.
- Read and apply state statutes as necessary to insurance licensing.
- Responsible for being content expert for all licensing functions.
- Assist in the development of compliance/licensing programs, policies, and procedures to enhance the organization's strategic objectives.
- Communicate successfully with state regulators.
- Relationship building with team members around the country.
- Actively participate in personal and professional development opportunities.
- Perform related work as required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field or comparable industry experience.
- Preferred one year of experience in Compliance or Licensing.
- Commitment to obtaining Health & Disability and Property and Casualty licenses within 6 months of hire date.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage and prioritize effectively a high volume of work with multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to apply continual process improvement and help create efficiencies.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and state insurance departments.
- Very Strong detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player and willing to work in a collaborative environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn.
