Apply nowGeneral Description: Responsible for contribution processing on client accounts, quality control, reporting and maintenance of the Retirement Planning Services system.
Responsibilities:
· Process contribution files received from clients, rollover contribution, platform transfer contributions and loan payoffs as requested by Conversion and Contribution Specialist
· Provide technical application support to team members as needed.
· Research cause and resolve participant account issues. Complete corrections including calculation of potential lost earnings.
· Create quarterly participant statements and complete statement checklist. Work with statement mailing vendor to insure timely delivery to participants.
· Create and verify accuracy of quarterly reconciliation for clients .
· Participate in upgrades to department related computer applications, including scheduling, testing, and implementation. Participate in process re-engineering projects.
· Lead or assist in documenting new or existing work processes.
· Assist with associate training: new associates, new processes, new systems enhancements.
· Assist set-up of new plans on client/participant web site, deactivate web access for client/participants of de-converting or terminating plans.
· Perform routine maintenance of the voice response unit (VRU) the automated telephone system, lead or assist setting up new plans on VRU.
· Perform daily balancing of assets between recordkeeping system and custodial account and resolve any issues. Notify Consultant of any issues not easily resolved.
· Allocate earnings, fees and revenue sharing (if applicable) to participant accounts.
· Request payment for fees from custodian.
· Assist with annual SSAE-18 testing of automated system, and data collection for CPA.
· Establish effective working relationships with Internal Partners, Clients and Vendors.
· Work with Internal Partners and Vendors to ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding client/plan issues and product deliverable completion.
· Work with all partners in a manner that fosters mutual respect and teamwork.
· Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes.
· Review emails within 24 hours, client voicemails within 2-4 hours.
· Participate in personal and professional development opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High level of computer literacy including strong working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Word.
- Ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Excellent problem solving skills, creative and innovative. Self-motivated team player.
- Experience with Schwab Retirement Technologies (SRT) ideal.
- Understanding of defined contribution retirement plan operations.
- Understanding of daily valuations and daily processing.
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
- College degree preferred
