Employee Benefits Select Account Representative

Apply nowGeneral Description: Assist account management team with the service and retention of small employee benefits clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist account managers with preparation of materials for client meetings and renewals. Includes benefit summaries, annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, and miscellaneous benefit changes/clarifications.
- Assist with the preparation of client compensation disclosures.
- Request census data from clients and gather general client information from identified carriers.
- Track receipt of ID cards, booklets, and contracts.
- Request contract changes and/or plan amendments as needed.
- Verify accuracy of client plan documents.
- Provide general administrative support for the account management team.
- Develop client/carrier contact sheets.
- Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management system.
- Maintain client documents in ImageRight and network drive.
- Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues.
- Respond to requests from all partners by stated time limits.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Entry-level position.
- College degree preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Must be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.
- Knowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight preferred.
- Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
- Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
- Open to feedback and coaching.
- Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.
- Bilingual a Plus; Spanish/English

Salary Range: $45,000- $60,000. This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 5%.
