General Description: Support the operational and processing needs of the commissions for the Individual Benefits team. Includes maintaining and scrubbing data from clients and carriers to be processed by the commissions team.

Responsibilities: 
Responsible for processing carrier commissions uploads.
Support the Commission team with individual carrier commission issues.
Assist Individual Benefits and Commission teams with new and retention commissions.
Review cases for individual bonuses from carriers. Manage confirmation and notification of payment. 
Support the My Benefit Advisor (MBA) team with new business and retention commissions.
Support acquisition and succession commissions for groups under 65 lives. Includes data entry of new carriers and brokers into COMeT system. Ensure commissions are received and paid correctly.
Support carrier block transfers. Ensure brokers are paid in accordance to acquisition agreement.
Ensure quality turnaround time and accuracy goals are met.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Individual Marketing Advisor and Account Executives. 
Develop strong knowledge of carrier processes and systems.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of Broker Contact Units and appropriate Broker Executives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School degree or GED required.
Must have Accident & Health license or obtain within three months from date of hire. 
Familiarity with Individual Market products.
Understanding of benefit plan designs and claim procedures.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  
Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. 
Superior attention to detail and follow-up skills. 
Effective communication skills when dealing with co-workers, brokers, and carriers. 
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
