General Description: Create and implement effective wellness and population health management (PHM) strategies. Includes sharing best practices, knowledge and experience to help clients reduce costs, improve member health status, and attract and retain talent. Assist with USI new business sales and support client retention by providing value added service to existing clients. Provide clients’ tools, resources, and assistance.   **This position offers a hybrid schedule working remotely and in the Atlanta office. Travel to client and team meetings required.**   

Responsibilities:

•            Participate in sales presentations for potential clients with 100+ employees. Act as expert in data management tool. Review USI concepts, practices, and service expectations.

•            Develop and deliver strategic solutions specific to client needs. Participate in strategic planning sessions and PHM specific meetings. 

•            Analyze and recommend vendor/carrier-based services, products, and pricing. Work with client and vendor(s) to establish baseline metrics to evaluate program impact.

•            Serve as liaison between USI, the insurer, and outside vendors and our clients.

•            Partner with internal teams to create customized wellness strategy options for clients. Focus on metrics, outcomes, education, programs, and policy/environment. 

•            Consult with USI and client’s communication team as well as outside vendors on program communication and marketing materials

•            Review client utilization and cost data to identify PHM opportunities and recommend strategies. Meet with assigned $100,000+ clients to develop and present Core Health Action Plan and strategy.

•            Participate in national team meetings, monthly team calls and designated National PHM Committee Assignments.

·       Develop and execute internal training and education for the Midsouth region.

•            Implement USI strategy with new clients.

•            Maintain data tracking tools for corporate reporting.

•            Ensure accurate and timely response to internal key stakeholders and client inquiries and issues. 

•            Stay abreast of medical carrier and solution specific vendor offerings, resources, and industry trends. Educate internal teams (benefits consultants and account executives) and clients. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•            Minimum 2-3 years of professional work experience, knowledge of or experience with employer sponsored wellbeing/population health programs a PLUS.

•            Bachelor’s degree required. Master's degree preferred. Concentration in health sciences field, such as nutrition, sports/fitness, or nursing preferred. 

•            Must hold or be willing to obtain state Life, Accident and Health insurance license.  

•            Travel up to 25% of the time. 

•            Basic knowledge of medical and pharmacy terms. Includes chronic conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

•            Experience with strategy development, health-related policy, and environmental interventions. Some industry (carrier/broker/vendor) exposure preferred. 

•            Experience preparing and delivering presentations and facilitating decision-making. 

•            Ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of audiences. Includes small and large group settings with employees, mid-level managers, and senior leaders. 

•            Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 

•            Self-motivated. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, team environment.

•            Strong organizational and communication skills.
