Commercial Lines Data Specialist

Apply nowGeneral Description: Assists the Technical Resources teams (Claims, Risk Control, Property & Casualty and Placement) by providing entry-level technical insurance support and coordination for assigned clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Support Technical Resources, Sales, Finance and Operations Leaders with premium analysis
- Verify accuracy of insurance documentation.
- Complete data collection, entry, and preparation.
- Complete analytical reports and provide entry-level analysis of data.
- Maintain and update database
- Gather data and runs models for Casualty and Property teams. Includes Loss Forecasts, Loss Stratifications, Loss Development Factors (Triangles), Collateral, Premium Allocation, and Catastrophe modeling.
- Prepare Loss Trend Report and Claims Detail Reports for the agency
- Build contingent and supplemental forecasting tools and line of sight dashboards for leadership that includes premium runs, and modeling of carrier profit sharing agreements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency. College degree preferred.
- Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products. Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Must have a capacity for analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
- Develops property and casualty knowledge and skillset.
