The Benefit Analyst is an entry-level role that entails providing work product and analytical support to senior staff while learning about the design, operations, and regulations governing defined benefit plans. Some of the work includes image processing, participant record updates, changes of address, direct deposit, tax changes, payment setups, fulfillment, death processing, and calculations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret pension plan documents and general pension regulations
- Process and manage pension requests (calculations, data inquiries and/or updates, etc.)
- Reconcile participant data questions
- Assist with periodic data and processing projects
- Complete assigned cases using established procedures and in a timely manner
- Keep managers apprised of project work and on-going workflow logs
- Have proactive involvement with clients

- Time management & organizational skills
- Analytical skills with an emphasis on problem solving
- Track multiple tasks and case resolution
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Understand and analyze participant data records
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Work independently and in group atmosphere
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
