General Description: Provide computer services and support to all USI offices and clients. Primary responsibility is to monitor and help maintain our Enterprise Network and UC/Collab infrastructure and related systems. Includes reporting, circuit management, ticket handling, and escalation.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for resolving IT network issues affecting end-user facing software and system performance. Includes Service Now and Collab tickets.
Review, monitor, and analyze network and systems performance issues. Leverage tools such as PRTG, Vyopta, system logs, and application-level reports to detect potential incidents. Initiate preventative action.
Work with clients, vendor partners, carriers, and technical staff on circuit/VOIP implementation, optimization, and circuit capacity and health.
Assist in the maintenance of all necessary technical documentation. Ensure work activity is accurately documented in company’s tracking systems.
Adhere to the company’s design, programming, and application standards. Includes compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures. 
Design, develop, analyze, and document testing process in lab environment to validate system and hardware performance, when program related changes are required.
Support production level testing, proof of concept implementation, and project initiatives.
Provide on-call and after-hours coverage as necessary. Travel as required to other USI locations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
5 years + of experience in a technical role.
BA/BS degree in technical discipline preferred.
Professional level certifications including Cisco networking and/or Collab, Fortinet, Webex, etc. 
Basic routing and switching knowledge required.
OSI model, TCP/IP, and basic troubleshooting skills required.
Some experience with circuit installation and troubleshooting is desired.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
