General Description: Responsible for supporting new system initiative efforts. Define systems capabilities (custom or purchased) to enable the business to grow. Perform project management activities for the approved systems initiative efforts.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs and associated project artifacts in a system of record.

·       Write periodic project status reports and review project progress with project team and senior management.

·       Define and maintain systems analysis standards, deliverables, and processes.

·       Work with business leaders and IT to implement projects and systems changes.

·       Manage accountability of tasks for project members.  Execute projects according to the project plan.

·       Act as liaison between business users and the IT team.

·       Develop business cases and financial models for systems enhancements and net new systems.

·       Transform user requests into business requirements and technical specifications.

·       Interact with business partners to learn and document requirements.  Produce business requirements documents. Ensure that projects and solutions are delivered to end user satisfaction.

·       Develop test plans and test cases. Manage system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

·       Research problems and plan solutions. Coordinate development to meet business requirements.

·       Manage and execute system conversion activities including reporting, data mapping, system configuration, data analysis.

·       Define and document “as is” and “to be” workflows and review with line of business leaders.

·       Subject matter expert (SME) in insurance workflows and applications.

·       Interface with vendors to ensure vendor compliance to contractual agreements

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:

·       Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP).

·       Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.

·       Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.

·       Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·       5-7 years of IT and/or systems experience.

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

·       Project management experience.

·       Advanced Excel and data analysis skills

·       Familiarity with SQL a plus.

·       Experience with insurance and/or sales applications and workflows a plus.

·       Ability to take ownership of projects/tasks and deliver successful results with excellence

·       Work independently and in collaboration with teammates and other teams

·       Experience with Agile or software development methodology a plus.

·       Ability to manage multiple complex and/or simple projects, ability to shift priorities as needed.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner, and mail machine. Physical tasks of the job include walking, sitting, standing, and bending.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

·       Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

·       Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand, and bend.

·       Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires employees to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

·       Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.

Salary Range:  $100,000-$115,000.  This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 10%.
