General Description: Responsible for managing assigned operational activities of the Region to achieve profitability and ensure consistency of standards of service and professionalism as defined by USI’s Best Practices, Core Values and Risk Management Quality Control standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Regional CL Operations Director to identify areas of capacity/book balancing opportunities
- Work with Regional CL Operations Director and CL Office Leaders to ensure CL 3X5 priorities are implemented
- Monitor adherence to service standards through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
- Work with CL offices to achieve 80% or better for all KPI deliverables
- Work with CL offices to achieve 80% utilization of Patra for certificate issuance
- Work with CL offices to utilize Patra policy checking on an ongoing basis
- Work with CL offices to implement utilization of Sagitta proposals
- Provide Region CL Operations Director regular updates on operational performance, take corrective action as necessary
- Work with offices identifying areas of improvement & create efficiencies
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to attend monthly calls; work with acquired office on implementation of all items outlined on the acquisition worksheet; attend conversion calls; identify all post conversion work needed and coordinate with national staff on cleanup
- Identify and coordinate new training and/or refresher training needed for CL staff
- Work with Regional Ops Director on various Sagitta/ImageRight projects – examples include Client/Pol Multi cleanup, staff coding changes, Sagitta data cleanup
- Produce and monitor various monthly reports to ensure all policies have been renewed in a timely manner, invoicing is completed in accordance with Best Practices, review team members open items, workloads, and backlog
- Attend regularly scheduled Commercial Lines Operations Leaders calls and meetings Manage operational integration of new acquisitions within the Region.
- All other projects assigned by the Regional CL Operations Director
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Agency along with comprehensive understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- In depth knowledge of agency management system functionality, workflow procedures, underwriting, sales, and service processes.
- Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license or willing to obtain one within an agreed upon timeframe.
- Ability to plan and instruct staff members on information appropriate to their job responsibilities.
- Ability to creatively and proactively problem solve.
- Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
- Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Interact with others effectively by utilizing effective communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
