The USI CG team includes top professionals with significant consulting, insurance, financial and accounting backgrounds including Actuaries, Consultants, Attorneys, CIMAs, CEBS.  Founded in 1975, USICG is one of the Nation’s leading consulting firms providing consulting and administrative services for approximately 1,800 clients nationwide. Clients consist of not-for-profit, public and private sector employers. General Description of Role:  Develop, lead and execute national strategic long-term growth plan for Sales Directors, Practice Leaders, Producers and Marketing team that incorporates; national cross sell strategy, revenue growth expectations, effectively establishing centers of Influence, developing technical capabilities of producers, succession planning and geographic expansion. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop ways to strengthen USICG’s value proposition.
  • Drive utilization and keep current all prospecting and relationship building opportunities within the company's sales force automation system (U Engage) and MailChimp.
  • Build a high quality training and onboarding platform to ensure that new producers get the support and training that they need to be successful, and established producers are driven to deliver ongoing growth and innovation.
  • Lead acquisition integration with respect to sales activation, messaging, U Engage training (in coordination with the Sales and Marketing Specialist), sales and marketing.
  • Develop internal and external branding strategy.  Enhance marketing department deliverables including proposals and presentations.  Identify prospects for producers.
  • Leadership role in sourcing and hiring of all sales and sales support talent.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, regionally and nationally.                       

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 15+ years of related sales leadership experience in the Retirement Industry and/or related financial services business.
  • Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Goal oriented.
  • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics.
  • Think creatively and solicit new ideas
  •  A consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients and associates.
  • Highly developed organization and time management skills
  • Ability to deal with senior level management and have a top-level executive presence.
