This individual compiles data and performs routine clerical and technical insurance related tasks and supports multiple teams within U.S. Risk through a shared environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Clears new business
- Order loss runs
- Prepares worksheets for policies and endorsements.
- Prepares submissions as instructed by the Broker/UW
- Reviews policies and endorsements prior to issuance
- Order inspections
- Solicits renewals and sets up ImageRight files 90 days out
- Handles Premium Finance Notices
- Follow up on subjectivities and renewals
- Special projects
- Obtain general knowledge of insurance accounting system, ImageRight and AIM.
- Makes the supervisor aware of all problems, complaints, or deadlines.
- Responsible for special projects and assignments as assigned by supervisor or department manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must demonstrate an aptitude to obtain knowledge of the insurance coverages/contracts being brokered.
HARDWARE and SOFTWARE SKILLS
Must have PC skills and intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Knowledge of AIM and/or ImageRight software is a plus.
