General Description: Assists the System Manager in the activities of the third party administrators (TPA) MIS department. Work with other deprtments within the TPA and clients in providing their data requests.


  • Runs reports that will be used for analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and quality assurance tasks as required to meet specific deliverables identified.
  • Performs unit stat jurisdictional reporting.
  • Compiles data; prepares and distributes reports both to internal and external customers.
  • Produces reports utilized in measuring data accuracy.
  • Assists in the completion of appropriate client set-up and maintenance.
  • Extracts data and information based on plan and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Gathers and prepares statistical data for reporting.
  • Meets deadlines and manages work to timelines.
  • Possesses an understanding of the TPA, processes and expectations
  • Supports the organization's policies and programs.
  • Assists in the implementation process of on-boarding a new client.
  • Assists in the testing/mapping of data.
  • Prints checks to payees and claimants.
  • Issues 1099's to providers.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned by her/his manager.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2 years insurance systems experience, high school graduate.
  • Workers' compensation experience helpful.
  • Ability to evaluate data.
  • Ability to coordinate diverse situations.
  • Organized, with ability to manage work involving large volume.
  • Understanding of claims management technology applications.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Strong systems skills
