General Description: Responsible for supporting new and existing system initiative efforts. Define systems capabilities to enable the business to grow and become more productive.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison between business users and IT teams.

• Research problems and plan solutions. Recommend software and system changes. Coordinate development to meet business requirements.

• Define the scope of projects in collaboration with line of business leaders.

• Develop business cases, project costs and ROI for systems enhancements.

• Transform user requests into business requirements and technical specifications.

• Manage and maintain project documentation

• Interact with business partners to learn and document requirements. Produce business requirements documents.

• Develop test plans and test cases. Manage system testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Work with business and IT leaders to implement projects and applications changes.

• Manage and execute system conversion activities including reporting, data mapping, system configuration, data analysis.

• Ensure that projects and systems are delivered to end user satisfaction.

• Define and document "as is" and "to be" workflows and review with LOB leaders

• Develop a schedule for project completion that allocates the resources to the activities

• Execute projects according to the project plan

• Manage accountability of tasks for project members

• Set up and maintain project plans, issue logs, and tasks in a system of record

• Interface with vendors to ensure vendor compliance to contractual agreements

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:

• Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP)

• Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.

• Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.

• Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3-5 years IT and/or systems experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates and other teams

• Advanced excel and data analysis skills

• Familiarity with programming or SQL a plus.

• Experience with insurance and/or sales applications and workflows a plus.

• Able to manage multiple and rapidly changing, high visibility priorities and projects.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner and mail machine. Physical tasks of job include; walking, sitting, standing and bending.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

• Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

• Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand and bend.

• Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires employees walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

• Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires lifting/carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/ turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.

Salary Range: $70,000- $85,000

This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive
