Description and Requirements

General Description: Assist Surety Sales Executives and Account Manager in service and retention of commercial lines surety clients. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide internal assistance to Surety Account Manager. 
  • Process endorsements, including ordering from carriers, verifying accuracy, and deliver to client.
  • Participate in basic client services. Prepare new bond requests and process renewal requests.  
  • Assist with Bid/Final bonds requests in management system, as directed.
  • Process various documents such as policy audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Create/update excel or work documents, when requested.
  • Assist in invoicing documents and resolution of accounting issues. 
  • Keep clients informed of request status, as directed.
  • Maintain client files accurately and consistently.  
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.  Adhere to ImageRight workflows.
  • Maintain carriers Power of Attorney, as directed.
  • Obtain bond numbers from carriers and load into management system.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Entry level-position. General office/clerical experience preferred. 
  • College degree preferred. 
  • Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty insurance license within agreed upon timeframe.
  • Must have notary license or willing to obtain within an agreed upon timeframe (varies by office).
  • Detail oriented with strong customer service skills.  
  • Must be comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products. 
  • Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and further professional development. 
  • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Open to feedback and coaching.

This is a Paid Time Off/Sick Leave eligible position. 18 days per year. 

This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 5%.


Salary: $53,000 - $65,000
