Description and Requirements
General Description: This position is an integral part of the corporate HR team, supporting the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) function. Responsible for developing and executing strategies and direction. Serve as a strong business partner and solutionist for all ongoing system requirements, systems implementations, process improvements, policy enforcement, compliance reporting, and audits.
Responsibilities:
- Support HR systems used for the processing of employee data related to the full scope of employee lifecycle events, from hire to retire. Includes hiring and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, performance evaluation, talent management, and offboarding.
- Act as technical expert on the company’s HR technology products. Includes HR, Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Performance systems.
- Responsible for data integrity and security set up in systems.
- Manage system and program upgrades, including additional module implementations.
- Responsible for HR systems vendor solutions. Includes executing integrations and evaluating reporting tools for USI.
- Recommend and implement system improvements to optimize usage of system.
- Leverage reporting tools to form insightful and actionable analytics. Develop new reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with vendors to manage day-to-day relationships, communicate product gaps, understand roadmap, manage access, data, training, and plan strategic changes. Vendor services include assessments, i9, background checks, onboarding, unemployment, work number, and external recruitment source vendors.
- Provide communications and training to internal client base. Includes HR, Recruiters, managers, and other team members.
- Work with corporate teams to update intranet pages content.
- Partner with various teams to provide ad hoc reporting and relay conclusions to senior leaders and field executives. Includes HR, national operations, sales, finance, IT, and legal teams.
- Provide data for Board presentation materials to be reviewed by leadership, the Board of Directors, and Private Equity Owners.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 4-9 years of related experience, including working with HR systems.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HRIS systems. Includes employee data, recruitment, and performance.
- Experience using Avature (ATS/CRM) or other comparable system required; Avature is ideal.
- UKG Pro experience a plus but not required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Excel.
- Strong analytical ability. Able to solve complex problems with logic and creativity.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivated work-ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to visualize and discuss abstract concepts and to apply them in practice.
- Experience in analysis, data modeling, and presentation development.
- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced business environment.
- Occasional (less than 10%) domestic travel should be expected in this position.
