Directly oversees claims and risk management for upper middle market and risk management accounts.  Establishes and maintains key customer relationships on the most complex designated accounts.  Reviews all new claims on designated customers and establishes a plan of action to achieve favorable claim resolution.  Coordinates, attends and facilitates client claim review meetings to include reviewing claims status and action plans using advanced problem-solving resolution skills.  Consults with customers to understand their needs and goals. Provides status reports to customers and keeps others informed. Investigates, evaluates and negotiates resolution of the most complex claims. Performs claim audits/reviews.  Participates in the development and implementation of claim management policies.  Works with market placement and secures TPA quotes to include comparison charts for delivery.  Identifies and evaluates claim trends. Coordinates with loss control and risk consultants on effective loss mitigation.  Actively partners with Sales Executives on new business opportunities. May be a subject matter expert in one or more lines of coverage.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of insurance experience 

  • 5+ years of claims experience 

     

Desired Qualifications:
  • Casualty Claims experience

  • Business development experience 

  • Management experience including managing team members and monitoring claim performance statistics to assure customer retention 

  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals 

  • Ability to handle claims for the largest or most complex accounts
