Are you Detail Oriented, Customer Service Focused and Like a Fast-Paced Environment?

Use your professional liability knowledge to assist law firms with their professional liability insurance renewals.   In this role you will service 3-9 attorney firms placed with Program and Non-program carriers, directly and via our network of broker partners.  Your primary objective will be to retain business and ensure service requirements are met  by providing excellent service primarily by phone and email.  You’ll identify needs and exposures; provide counsel on appropriate coverage and provide cautionary advice; present proposals; solidify relationships with underwriters, insureds and brokers; communicate with underwriters to obtain information or inform them about account status or changes; negotiate terms of policies with underwriters; cross sell, round accounts and refer new business opportunities; document company records; retain and develop business relationships and provide management reports relative to book profile and performance. Matawan, NJ Office location is preferred (Philadelphia (Newtown Square) or Mid-town NYC location is available for the right candidate).


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.  is required;

  • Strong insurance industry experience servicing professional service accounts including communicating with principals, administrators, risk managers or business owners  regarding their Professional Liability insurance is required.

  • Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance experience is required.  Lawyers Professional Liability is a PLUS!

  • Active Property & Casualty License is required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Sales and customer service orientation is required.
  • Strong verbal and written professional communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong business relationships as well as the ability to deal effectively with difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills; attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
