SUMMARY

The position of Senior Graphic Designer reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with a team of other designers to design and produce a variety of designs in marketing collateral, email, and front-end design. The candidate should be proficient in all areas of design including expert-level experience with Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency coding HTML, CSS, and Javascript for email and web pages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Design marketing collateral and communication (one-sheets, brochures, presentations, newsletters, email marketing, and web pages) in conjunction with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Support Creative Director to provide ongoing creative development for Emerson Reid’s marketing, branding and communications projects.
  • Develop brand guidelines and support execution across offices nationwide. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders across the organization to develop creative solutions to their marketing and communication needs.
  • Develop and design new templates, guidelines and guides for local offices.
  • Design, format, and update PowerPoint presentations.
  • Initiate and develop creative ideas for on-brand websites.
  • Other special marketing, branding and design projects as needed.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Maintain high standards of quality.

  • Fundamental knowledge of core design principles (typography, design & layout, and composition)
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Excellent knowledge of web design including HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Advanced PowerPoint (including animations, image optimization, video, hyperlinks, navigation and charting)
  • Video Editing and design a plus
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel
