General Description: This position has primary responsibility for providing high level support for the day to day activities of the sales and marketing teams for USI CG.


  • Conduct research and provide information sales team on existing and prospective clients.
  • Utilize this information for the development of new sales relationships, management of client databases, including CRM and assisting with the integrity of the data, including social media.
  • Help each producer meet their marketing / branding goals.
  • Prepare presentations and supporting sales materials.
  • Maintain continuity of USI CG collateral materials to maintain an effective and unified marketing message.
  • Manage elements of marketing messages to achieve a consistent look for USI CG marketing and collateral materials to clearly and concisely illustrate our unique selling proposition.
  • Execute office marketing strategies to create value for customers and prospects around USI CG services to further enhance and generate sales, including:
    • Seminars including pre-event and post event strategies
    • Lunch & Learns
    • Drip Marketing
    • Coordination of industry white papers
    • Center of Influence & Networking Event leadership
    • Create marketing calendar of events
  • Develop mailings for educating existing clients on important benefits, legal, and compliance information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing or Communications preferred), or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales, marketing, or fast-paced business role required. Retirement industry experience highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Comfortable learning new systems/tools
  • Superior detail orientation
  • Very resourceful
  • Team oriented - works daily with leaders, producers, and sales coordinators
  • Professional -- will interact effectively with business leaders of USI
  • Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
  • Interested in helping build and contribute to a national marketing team and structure
  • Organized self starter with a positive attitude that can juggle multiple priorities with firm deadlines
  • Flexible and able to support a group of individuals, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
