General Descriptions:
Responsible for serving carriers and program managers by providing analyses and reports designed on financial aspects of insurance programs and financial decisions. 

Conducting analysis identifying loss trends.
Pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes.
Developing evaluations and financial reporting standards and generating complex reports that exhibit a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures.  
Responsible to ensure actuarial services are delivered to meet internal standards and carrier requirements for quality and timeliness for all assigned programs.
May lead and direct the work of others. 
Perform other job duties as assigned and participate in special projects as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
8+ years of actuarial experience.
Bachelors degree required (preferred mathematics or statistics) 
An American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) designation and one of the following: ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) or FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society)  
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy  
Strong presentation skills  
Ability to effectively learn and use actuarial valuation software
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Effective management, relationship building, planning and organizational skills
Good judgment and decision-making ability
Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills 
Ability to travel 10% of the time
