The regional Cyber/E&O position is part of the overall Executive & Professional Risk Services (EPS) resource group within the assigned region(s).  Focused on delivering Cyber/E&O expertise regarding risks and solutions, this role will serve existing clients and help producers drive revenue growth. 

General Description: 

Due to growth, we're hiring a Cyber-focused Executive & Professional Risk Solutions (EPS) regional professional.  He or she will be responsible for providing Cyber (and related E&O) expertise to assigned large & complex clients within assigned region(s) and facilitating the continued development of Cyber/E&O expertise with the region(s).  Activities include evaluating the Cyber/E&O risks of the company’s products and services, understanding the Cyber/E&O insurance marketplace, marketing and placing cyber/E&O insurance solutions, handling client technical coverage questions and service requests, educating other EPS associates and non-EPS associates on Cyber/E&O risks.  


  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Cyber / E&O risks and the respective insurance marketplace, including our team’s products and services
  • Provide Cyber/E&O technical support to producers, specifically in analyzing client needs with cyber and E&O coverage  
  • Coordinate with National Cyber team members on the largest/most complex placements/solutions
  • Effectively communicate with other team members and administrative staff to ensure proper prioritization of workflow
  • Ability to place complex insurance programs ($10M+) from start to finish
  • Utilize effective negotiation skills / underwriter relationships to improve broking results, obtaining optimal risk solutions for clients
  • Use data and analytics, own experience, other expert perspectives and a clear methodology to deliver optimal results to clients and create opportunities with prospective clients
  • Provide broking status and continuous proactive communication and service to clients/ /account team during entire broking process and entire period of engagement
  • Effectively utilize the EPS/Cyber claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel to assist with claims’ resolutions
  • Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking and client service process
  • Provide support top Producers specifically in analyzing client needs   
  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate risk controls and coverages in coordination with producers
  • Cross-sell other EPS products and services
  • Assist producers in developing and executing on a pipeline strategy for new business
  • Participate in internal and external webinars focused on cyber risks/exposures
  • Develop regional Cyber/E&O COE/COI connections (law firms, underwriters, industry organizations)
  • Other projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of Cyber/E&O insurance brokering, underwriting and/or claims experience.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Must hold /willing to obtain needed state Property & Casualty insurance license(s).
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Keep informed regarding Cyber/E&O industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the region(s)
