General Description: The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible to support the recruiting team in research, communication and initial reach out to passive candidates for assigned projects.  This position is focused on finding quality candidates and promotion of USI brand through the sourcing process.


  • Handle inbound sourcing and recruiting activities to include external applicants, internal applicants, and employee referrals
  • Source passive candidates through ATS/CRM, direct channels, social media, internet, strategic research and relationship management
  • Promote USI brand online and offline by leveraging user groups, blogs and networking
  • Generate candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging
  • Conduct first level sourcing engagement calls with candidates
  • Clearly articulate and sell the USI value proposition to candidates
  • Pre-qualify talent through profiling, formal evaluations and trait assessments
  • Develop strategies to ensure talent pipelines are continuously strengthened, in order to support current needs, as well as future business growth
  • Monitor candidate quality and sources across the team to ensure quick and efficient delivery of talent
  • Accountable for key metrics; such as candidate experience, productivity and quality of pipeline, quality of slate, and conversion rates
  • Foster relationships with passive/active talent, recruiting partners and business leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition in a recruiting, sourcing, coordination, recruitment marketing, or programmatic capacity
  • Strong learning agility and passion for driving results through key social media tools for recruiting (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Passion for data integrity
  • Demonstrated communication skills verbally and in writing
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience with Talent Acquisition technology such as ATS/CRM etc
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and leadership skills
