General Description: Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of procurement strategies.


  • Develop standard practices and compliance infrastructure. Manage relationships for both internal clients and suppliers. Aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.
  • Evaluate complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Responsible for vendor negotiations and sourcing engagements. Build new partnerships to ensure competitive supplier sourcing and pricing.
  • Drive the bidding process to capitalize on eCommerce opportunities. Facilitate effective long-term supplier relationship and contract management.
  • Lead sustainable high impact sourcing approaches beyond competitive bidding. Provide proactive operational support to ensure relationships and programs are operating in the most effective, cost-efficient and compliant manner.
  • Lead comprehensive sourcing strategies (RFX) across multiple industries. Manage the RFX process, risk identification, negotiation, contracting and onboarding.
  • Ensure strategy and reporting are configured to departmental needs.
  • Develop reports using Business Intelligence tools to form insightful and actionable analytics.
  • Oversee multiple real estate projects from planning and design through construction.  Accountable for the project(s) assigned and responsible for supervising all contractors.
  • Responsible for periodic training of client groups (Regional CFOs, office managers, cross-departments, employees).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree in a quantitative field preferred.
  • 10+ years of related experience. Experience working with supply chain, credit card, travel and expense management systems preferred.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to solve complex problems, manage and negotiate multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Capacity to visualize and discuss abstract concepts and to apply them in practice.
  • Experience in analysis, data modeling and presentation development.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Occasional (less than 10%) domestic travel expected in this position.
