Looking to Hire in one of the following offices (hybrid role): Salt Lake City, UT; Bloomington, MN; Tempe, AZ; or Valhalla, NY

General Description: The Procurement Analyst will work closely with senior management to develop reporting tools to measure and monitor business initiatives based on the company's business needs. This position will run month-end reports for senior management as well as maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for procurement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze trends and forecast future performance
  • Develop and report procurement metrics
  • Aid sourcing for indirect spend (non-IT) categories
  • Act as initial point of contact between assigned vendors and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned vendors
  • Facilitate work across departments and business units to develop common requirements and business processes to leverage key suppliers
  • Develop and maintain a preferred vendor list of competitive and innovative companies
  • Ensure compliance with USI standards, policies and controls
  • Adopt "Best in Class" procurement process, practices and methodologies
  • Keep abreast of the outside business world and be proactive in keeping management informed of vendor changes and their impact or potential impact on USI

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Some prior business experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Solid communication, negotiation, analytic and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team; be resourceful and solve problems as needed
  • Manage activities across multiple projects; plan, coordinate and meet project deadlines
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Salary Range: $45,000- $60,000

This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 5%
