General Description:

The CG OS Pension Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to the Defined Benefit-Outsourcing staff and clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Access database of all incoming mail.
  • Assess work and create associated tasks on a daily basis.
  • Run daily work logs and distribute to team.
  • Assist in daily administrative functions e.g. sending out address change forms, direct deposit change forms, Pension Verification letters etc.
  • Assist in daily administration e.g. retiree setups, updates and monthly retiree payroll changes
  • Assist with participant fulfillment e.g. election packages.
  • Assist with administrative updates e.g. Suspension of benefits, Terminated Vested approaching normal retirement.
  • Assist on projects, as needed.
  • Assist with coordination of large mailings, with USICG Administration Team
  • DB Coordinator for SSN searches.
  • Support document imaging.
  • Foster a friendly and efficient working environment through a team-oriented attitude.
  • Return phone calls and create a detailed record of all calls including nature and date of resolution.
  • Support Pension Service Center with phone coverage.
  • Utilize tools and resources to foster individual growth.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Administrative experience required
  • Familiar with basic use of MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Access)
  • Detail-oriented and strong organization skills
  • Demonstrate ability to manage several concurrent projects; meet deadlines and performance standards
  • Written and oral communication skills required
  • Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without requiring Visa sponsorship.
