General Description: 

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the marketing department in a variety of duties; including:


• Managing development, revisions, and approvals of direct mail creative proofs for alumni campaigns. 

• Assists with email creative versioning and testing for alumni groups to meet client marketing schedules.

• Facilitating creative proofs to clients through Workfront ProofHQ system and communicating status to internal and external team members.

• Gathering and tracking monthly campaign results: email, direct mail and digital. 

• Preparing and uploading client logos, signatures and other assets to vendor websites and marketing platforms to create marketing materials.

• Maintaining and updating in-house marketing information systems with new marks, logos, references and other details to ensure accuracy of campaigns. 

• Communication with carriers and partners in support of quarterly marketing deployments that include changes and other requirements.

• Assisting Product Manager with carrier compliance reviews.

• Assist when needed on various one-time or on-going marketing administrative projects.

• Works closely with print vendors and outside agencies as needed to execute marketing campaigns.

• Act as backup for other marketing team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

• Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus but not required.

• College degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field is preferred.
