Description and Requirements

General Description: Drive and execute New Business Growth strategies across all programs. Partner with program leaders, producers, and sales and marketing teams to market new prospective brokers, delivering insightful marketing and sales analytics. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement growth strategies across all programs to achieve financial growth targets. 
  • Produce and monitor various monthly reports, scorecards, and KPIs. 
  • Oversee CRM systems, processes, and procedures. Partner with division leaders to ensure execution and accountability. 
  • Coordinate program presence at industry events and track marketing ROI.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, agencies, clients, and prospects across all direct and indirect programs. 
  • Collaborate with producers to create and execute broker-specific growth plans for top brokers.
  • Meet with producers on a regular basis to review new business results against targets, goals, and sales plans. Coach, develop, and manage performance in partnership with program leaders. 
  • Partner with programs and national marketing leaders to develop marketing strategies and campaigns. Provide insights and sales expertise to drive revenue growth. 
  • Act in accordance with client goals, service standards, and internal best practices. 
  • Conduct in-person visits with agents, brokers, and prospects.
  • Work closely with program leaders, sales associates, producers, and underwriters to understand prospect’s commercial lines insurance needs. 
  • Develop relationships with program leaders, underwriters, producers, carrier underwriters, and representatives to generate and develop revenue opportunities. 
  • Serve as sales technical expert on market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.
  • Keep current with industry, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 10+ years of experience in a commercial property & casualty insurance agency. Comprehensive understanding of all property & casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior managerial experience preferred. Ability to manage others effectively.
  • Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Industry designations such as ARM, CIC, and CPCU preferred.
  • Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
  • Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Sagitta/Image Right preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
