Apply nowDue to continued growth, we are adding a National Risk Control Leader who will be responsible for establishing, executing and overseeing the national strategy, solution innovation, growth and training of the risk control practice.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coaching regional risk control leaders & consultants on industry trends, state of the art solutions and solving complex risk control service issues.
- Responsible for remaining abreast of industry regulations, issues/trends, innovative solutions & tools, technology advancements.
- Ensure the delivery of innovative, consistent, best in class risk control services & solutions to upper middle market and risk management customers and prospects across the organization.
- Responsible for the innovation and development of USI risk control solutions that are timely, impactful and consistent with vertical specialization, market, technology and industry leading trends.
- Develop solution content for Omni AI (solution library pages, SWPs), as well as external client/prospect communications on timely issues/topics/trends (white papers, advisories, articles).

- Continuously review and revise risk control deliverables, tools and processes, to remain industry leading and financially impactful
- Responsible for establishing & deploying training content & processes (onboarding new employees; new solution/technology training; ongoing professional development of colleagues) continuously developing USI Risk Control Team
- Act as a national resource, actively monitoring new business and at-risk deals and proactively engaging with the Regional Technical Resource Leaders, P&C Leaders, Sales Executives and account teams in sales/retention efforts.
- Support field on larger more complex new business and retention efforts, participating in client/prospect meetings & presentations, representing USI risk control capabilities
- Maintain 2-3 large client assignments as day to day senior Risk Control Consultant to remain current and relevant within market.
- Work with National and Regional leadership across P&C Analytics/Placement and Claims, to ensure a collaborative and comprehensive approach to client service delivery, proposed solutions and mitigation of total cost of risk.
- Establishes and maintains key client, carrier, vendor and regulator relationships, interacting & engaging at a national level on behalf of the organization.
- Continuously assess need and oversee the implementation and usage of any software specific to the risk control practice (Risk Management Center, Broker Briefcase, Safety Reports, etc.)

- Minimum of 10 years in the commercial insurance industry with experience in the handling of real estate, manufacturing, non-profit, service, transportation and construction clients.
- Professional designations preferred or working towards (CSP, CPCU, ARM, CIH, OHST, CFPS, etc.)
- Broad knowledge and experience in risk management, risk financing, risk assessment, risk strategy and claims management.
- Well versed in applicable regulations and role of industry regulators
- The ability to create and implement a strategic vision around risk and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems involving varying viewpoints and to develop viable solutions.
- The ability to influence others as a change agent, using one’s expertise, communication and strong leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate what good looks like
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to engage with C-Suite buyers
- Strong project management skills, results-driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Must be comfortable with internet-based programs as well as intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office products. Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
- Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
- Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Salary Range: $190,000 - $205,000. This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 25%
