The National Real Estate Practice Leader is a key member of our Industry Vertical Leaders team focusing on these areas: Knowledge Transfer, Field Engagement, Innovation and Leading Through Thought / Branding.


  • Creating content for USI’s OMNI platform, providing Thought Leadership & institutionalizing knowledge for all colleagues to use.
  • Innovation of Product and Solutions for the Real Estate vertical; Seeking market and coverage exclusive solutions for USI.
  • Identification of associations and centers of influence (COI) for producer engagement and participation, providing opportunities for producers to expand network and visibility to drive sales opportunities.
  • Providing career pathing and technical knowledge for producers and account teams.
  • Providing strategic advice on client solutions to help advance and close business; and on an ongoing basis being a strategic advisor on account management and innovation to retain clients.
  • USI One Academy Facilitation - lead and execute effective Real Estate sessions for Producers to enhance their knowledge in this vertical.
  • Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies along with communications to optimize USI’s position in Real Estate.
  • Proactively represent USI through Association participation, speaking engagements, creating content (articles/blogs), hosting Webinars & in-person roundtables for Regional clients and prospects, conference attendance & support, community involvement & USI Market Outlook updates
  • Regional needs assessment, actively engage with Regional PC Practice Leaders to identify, source and participate in recruiting Producer candidates, assist with M&A opportunities to identify additional talent, additional offerings or exclusives.           
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

10-15 years industry experience required

Ability to translate and present complex information in simplified terms to a wide range of audiences

Consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to engaging with Prospects, Clients & Associates

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Ability to manage and lead by influence and facilitation skills

Highly developed organization & time management skills

Effective written & verbal communication skills

Prior Coaching / Mentoring experience a plus

Ability to travel up to 30%

Salary Range:  $240,000- $255,000.  This is a bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 50%.
