General Description: 

Due to growth, we're hiring for an Executive & Professional Risk Solutions National Practice Advisor with Cyber expertise. He or she will be responsible for providing executive & professional risks’ expertise to assigned large & complex clients and facilitating the continued development of executive and professional risk solutions (EPS) expertise with the regions.  Activities include evaluating the EPS risks of the company’s products and services, understanding the EPS insurance marketplace, marketing and placing EPS insurance solutions, handling client technical coverage questions and service requests, educating other EPS associates and non-EPS associates on EPS risk and assisting in the development of EPS content and analytical tools.

Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Cyber / E&O insurance marketplace and our team’s products and services
    • Provide technical support to Producers, specifically in analyzing client needs with Cyber and E&O coverage forms and quotations
  • Own all aspects of client service for assigned book of business and new business opportunities in coordination with account team/regional EPS team members
  • Effectively communicate with other team members and administrative staff to ensure proper prioritization of workflow
  • Ability to place complex insurance programs ($50M+) from start to finish
  • Utilize effective negotiation skills / underwriter relationships to improve broking results to obtain optimal risk solutions for clients
  • Use data and analytics, own experience, other expert perspectives and a clear methodology to deliver optimal results to clients and create opportunities with prospective clients
  • Provide broking status and continuous proactive communication and service to clients/regional EPS/account team during entire broking process and entire period of engagement
  • Effectively utilize the EPS claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel to assist with claim resolution
  • Drive utilization of all available technology throughout broking and client service process
  • Provide support to Producers specifically in analyzing client needs - coverage forms quotations, existing policies
  • Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverage’s in coordination with Producers
  • Replicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunities
  • Cross-sell EPS Solutions products and services
  • Assist producers in developing and executing on a pipeline strategy for new business
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced team members
  • Assist in the creation of EPS-related content 
  • Assist in the development of EPS analytical solutions
  • Assist in the continued development of expertise of other EPS brokers
  • Assist/lead internal and external webinars focused on cyber risks/exposures
  • Develop EPS COE/COI connections (law firms, underwriters, industry organizations
  • Other projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 7+ years of EPS insurance brokering, underwriting and/or claims experience.
  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Must hold /willing to obtain needed state Property & Casualty insurance license(s).
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Keep informed regarding EPS industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
