General Description: 

Provides support to the Career Development team within a variety of activities.  Participates in the execution of the Career Development components including communication, scheduling and administration of LMS learning & managing instructor-led sessions.   Involvement in the measurement of developmental success of program associates and the analysis of learning data and reporting.


The Career Development Partner performs a wide range of duties including some or all the following as it relates to planning, managing, implementing, monitoring & evaluating the program:

  • Serve as a project manager in the development of the Career Path project plan including research of needed resources and materials.
  • Create and manage calendar for 2-year training curriculum including communication and scheduling of each training course and all events related to the curriculum.
  • Advise and support curriculum path, content and scheduling.
  • Coach and reinforce knowledge transfer post training.
  • Produce written instruction materials.
  • Aid in the evaluate participants’ job readiness through developmental checkpoints including, but not limited to, testing, one on one performance sessions, group discussions and auditing.
  • Report on progress and results, measurement of testing and analytics supporting results & aid in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Complete projects on time.
  • Work on various projects in support of objectives, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of Employee Benefits experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Detailed experience with agency management systems and EB Best Practices and Workflows
  • Be self-managed and capable of completing required tasks
  • Familiarity with e-learning training platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manage complexity, prioritize tasks and execute.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the company.
  • Adhere to high professional standards and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills.


Physical Demands:

 Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins.  Employees operate office equipment including telephone - headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner and mail machine.  Physical tasks of job include walking, sitting, standing, bending and typing.

Analysis of Physical Demands:

·         Constantly (over 66% of time) work performed requires employees to use repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, and sitting at a desk.

·         Frequently (34%-66% of time) work performed requires employees to handle and grasp things, walk on normal surfaces, stand and bend.

·         Occasionally (1%-33% of time) work performed requires, have repetitive foot movements, walk on uneven or slippery surfaces to and from work and occasionally reach outward to grab things and bend.

·         Rarely (< than 1 hour per week) work performed requires Lifting/Carrying items that range from 10-50lbs, pushing/pulling items that range from 10-50lbs, twisting/ turning including reaching over shoulder or above head, kneeling or squatting.
