General Description: 

Responsible for full cycle of Machine Learning (ML)/AI projects in production. Includes designing, optimizing, deploying and performance monitoring. Partner with data scientists, data architects, software developers, and business intelligence developers.

Responsibilities:

·         Work with the data science team to modify code/models for production deployments.

·         Optimize code and processes for low latency.

·         Work with data engineers to build data pipelines and infrastructure. Support machine learning systems at scale.

·         Create release pipelines for development, user acceptance testing (UAT) and production environments. Adhere to IT processes and protocols for deployments.

·         Monitor model performance in production. Adjust resources as needed for peak performance.

·         Monitor model drift. Support ROI and impact analysis of models in production.

·         Keep current on new technologies related to improving ML/AI delivery.

·         Contribute to Ops Engineering projects within Infrastructure.

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities:

·         Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP).

·         Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.

·         Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.

·         Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

·         3 years + Python programming experience.

·         2 years + experience with Machine Learning Ops in a Microsoft-stack environment. Includes Azure DevOps, DataBricks, KeyVault, ADLS, CosmosDb, and ML Services.

·         Experience with Synapse, Databricks, including the CLI, and YAML scripting preferred.

·         Working knowledge of insurance brokerage or sales workflows and systems preferred.
