Apply nowGeneral Description: Responsible for full life cycle recruitment for USI Early Talent Programs. Ensure we attract and hire high-potential employees. Build a strong employer brand among college communities in assigned region(s). This position focuses on creating robust, qualified candidate pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage campus candidates through the entire hire process. Influence, guide and partner with internal managers to identify, attract, assess and hire the best talent.
- Attend college career events and host career day sessions. Interact with students, faculty and on campus organizations to promote USI's brand.
- Debrief managers and candidates. Negotiate offers; close and "post close" candidates.
- Research and source passive candidates through multiple channels. Includes internet prospecting, networking, employee referrals, internet ads, database searches and employee referrals.
- Track relevant information in recruitment database. Includes job postings, prospect data, job requisitions, candidate information and relevant notes.
- Manage daily activities to meet department goals. Track key metrics.
- Facilitate candidate testing and evaluations. Conduct reference checks.
- Work with peer group to establish best practices. Ensure consistent brand marketing/USI message; share leads and competitive intelligence.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 2+ years of full lifecycle recruitment in a campus recruiting environment. Insurance or Financial Services recruitment experience is ideal. College degree preferred.
- Excellent research and sourcing skills. Ability to multitask. Enthusiasm for cold calling is essential.
- Self-starter with a superior work ethic and a defined sense of urgency is a must. Success in navigating a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to fully manage "client" relationships and partner with hiring managers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
- An understanding of broad Human Resources practices.

- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
