General Description: 

The My Benefit Advisor (MBA) Implementation Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the system databases across MBA. This individual will use data analysis to aid in the development and execution of implementing benefit systems aimed at driving sales across all business units. This role will manage the day-to-day activities associated with our overall strategy and will be responsible for maintaining accurate systems. The MBA Implementation Analyst will report directly to the MBA Director, Operations, and will work closely with the MBA account management team across all Emerson Reid offices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage database to ensure integrity of the information in the system
  • Train new Account Managers on procedures and provide on-going guidance on use.
  • Coordinate training with vendors on new versions or applications
  • Research, collect, integrate and maintain client data in the database.
  • Support our sales efforts and help to strengthen our position in negotiating for potential future business.
  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing department and My Benefit Advisor department.
  • Run reports from and compare to expected outcomes on an as needed basis.
  • Provide management reporting on client specific or across client needs
  • Take initiative to quickly learn and understand our business and industry terminology.
  • Conduct system demonstrations for clients as needed on line or in person as requested
  • Provide internal staff and/or client base with follow-up communication and approvals on plan changes and open enrollment issues.
  • Coordinate efforts with team members to facilitate plan changes, and ensure quality and turn-around times meet ERC standards. 
  • Building new accounts and updating current accounts in database(s) as needed

  • Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration in a team setting
  • At least two years’ experience working in internal communications, HRIS, or Client Management systems preferred.
  • Experience working with HRIS or Benefit Administration platforms is a plus
  • Experience working in the group benefits or health insurance industries a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel required (data entry, formatting, formulas)
  • Basic experience with graphic design programs a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
