General Description:

The Account Coordinator acts as a liaison between the Account Manager and client. This position is dedicated to the service of the 20+ or high profile accounts, and is accountable for the communication, service and resolution of all inquiries presented.



  • Claims -- Review, analyze, resolve and communicate to client
  • Claims Substantiations Reports if required
  • Association and Direct Billing Audit Reconciliation
  • Process Adds/Drops/Changes in all applicable systems
  • COBRA/FSA Processing
  • Process activity from the client online enrollment portals: Navigator & My Benefit Passport
  • Monitor and Maintain Processing Mailboxes
  • Renewal Updates through all applicable systems
    • Plan Change Submission
    • Update Group Plan Information and Rates in applicable system
    • Member plan change movements in all applicable systems
    • QC Renewal in all applicable systems
    • Proactive Outreach call to client upon completion of renewal
    • Participate in client renewal meetings when applicable with the Account Manager as requested
  • Pull Monthly Renewals from carriers and send to Account Manager as requested
  • Run Alternate Quotes (QSM)
  • QC Renewal Spreadsheet
  • Order enrollment kits

QUALIFICATIONS --To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. College degree preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Administrative skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the healthcare insurance industry working with products such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, FSA and HSA plans preferred.

Language Ability --
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Reasoning Ability -- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
