General Description: Provide oversight and implement the legal department’s operational initiatives. Support essential day-to-day needs of the corporate legal department. 

Responsibilities:
Identify and implement methods to improve department efficiency and productivity. Includes standardized reporting templates and KPI.  
Assess key department functions and recommend enhancements utilizing available technologies, including the department's matter management platform, Counsel Link and it's contract management system, Agiloft.
Responsible for Agiloft administration and maintenance. Includes user access updates, group permissions, clause library, print templates, metadata fields, covenant restriction periods, import data, and executed agreements.
Act as the liaison with IT, PMO, and project managers. Coordinate technology enhancements and resolve system related issues.
Partner with leadership team to develop and implement strategies/programs. Includes managing expenses, billing policies, and performance of outside counsel and other vendors.  
Oversee department playbooks, guidelines, and training. Includes facilitating annual compliance training for all employees.
Develop and implement the department’s communications architecture. Includes newsletters, announcements, and messages from leadership team. Develop cadence for regular intranet enhancements.
Finalize offer approvals for producers and executives in the recruitment/talent management system. 
Maintain employment agreements and closing documents in the contract management system
Create and maintain reports on the inventory of professional claims and litigation matters.   
Manage transfer to new data system for legal expenses and claim reporting. Includes interfacing with new vendor and other internal departments.   
Assist corporate attorney with M&A transaction closings, credit facility/indenture, and equity related transactions.
Respond to RFP and Market Management requests.
Complete initial review of carrier, intermediary and other commercial agreements. Verify acceptable contract conditions.
Manage annual conflict of interest disclosure process.
Coordinate with Risk Management on USI corporate annual insurance renewals. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
3-5 years of experience in a financial or professional services firm or legal department. Includes demonstrated growth and progression of responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Operations Management, Business, or IT preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
Familiarity with legal technology solutions preferred. Includes contract management, e-Billing, and matter management (Counsel Link).  
Strong organizational, project management, and analytical thinking skills.
Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and promptly with internal clients.

Compensation & Benefits Information:

Salary Range: $90,000  - $110,000 

This is a bonus-eligible position with a target incentive of 5%
