The Benefits Administration Implementation Consultant will work with senior team members in providing project management and administrative support to firm clients. The consultant will manage pension recordkeeping and consulting relationships within the Benefits Administration Practice.
The BA Implementation Consultant will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in different areas of the Benefit Administration Practice. This position could be the first step in a long, fulfilling career that offers leadership opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Interpret pension plan documents and general pension regulations
* Assist in managing projects by overseeing planning and tracking project activities and progress
* Manage and complete data cleanup/analysis projects
* Responsible for understanding, mapping out and setting up calculation logic.
Specific/Individual Core Competencies:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in defined benefit pension administration
• Experience with complex plan provisions
• Proficient skills in MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel logic based functions.
• Data analytics & gap analysis
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills
• Time management & organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize workload with multiple clients/projects
• Ability to work in teams and deliver independent work products
• Actuarial/benefit calculation programing experience preferred
Education:
*Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with preference for business or related field
